Defined suggested values for ENTITY_LINK attribute (Like searching)

Jump to solution

Hi,

Is there a way, how to use wildcard characters or like searching in the business rule „Define suggested values based on filter“ for ENTITY_LINK attributes?

For example when there would be 4 names: Chris, Christine, John, Paul and we would like to select only names which contains „Chris“ (Chris, Christine). Our customer has a big amount of data for some of their Offering User options ENTITY_LINK attributes and they can filter it out only this way.

Thank you very much for any advice.

Hello,

Wildcards are not supported in the rendering rule.

What type of filters are required? I doubt it will be on a person's name. Is it possible to use an additional condition (field)?

Best regards,
Brindusa

OK, thank you.

Users have been used as an illustrative example. We wanted to use this for selection of application roles of our customer, which has no other condition, which we could use, only the same expression in the name (e.g. BS0100). We have prepared workaround, which should be ok for our customer.
