Slowness in showing incidents in search

Jump to solution

Hello:

we are having a behavior that affects incidents agents.

When you want to relate an incident to another incident recently opened, it takes from 5 to 10 minutes to appear in the search of "Add related record" to be able to make the relationship effective.

Best Regards

Marina,

This is an expected behavior. If the incident you are expected to find was recently created or updated, it is likely marked as "dirty" and needs to be re-indexed. It takes 5-8 minutes between each re-index task.

Sounds like something with your search is having an issue.

Check to make sure all your smarta pods are running,

check your smart analytics pod statuses from the BO (bo->configurations > smart analytics)

and then try a full reindex

Perform a full reindex for Smart Analytics

@andrewsro- your explanation would apply if the incident had not been touched.
