Gwavaman showing stopped on the web interface

After applying the latest upgrade to the secure messaging gateway, the gwavaman module shows stopped in the web interface. Restarting the server and restarting the modules have no effect, although the system appears to be still working correctly. I get the qms output and mail filtered and delivered correctly. I am using the vm installation, so I do not have the root password to login and check the status at root level of the modules.

Anyone have any ideas regarding this issue or know the vm root password would be a great help. I used to connect to the gwava partner portal to get online assistance, what is the procedure know that it is under the micro focus banner?

There definitely seems a problem with this update as I have loaded a working vm backup from a few weeks ago, applied the update and got the same problem.

please look into this asap.

These forums are monitored by volunteers. We help as we are able. Rev
444 is working fine for me so I don't have anything to work with to
help you. You might want to open an SR. If your problem is indeed a
bug, you should be able to get the SR refunded. Or if it is just an
issue with your install they can probably remote in and assist you
with it. Sorry I can't be more help.

ChasR,

I assume you are now running rev 444? I just updated mine without a
hitch. Just restarted services after the update and appears to be
good.

I will Private Message you some additional information.

If you need to open a Support Request for GWAVA (SMG) go to the
MicroFocus Customer Center just like any other MF product.

The latest upgrade 471 addresses the problem and the service restarts correctly. I find that version 444 still appears to work after upgrade to this version, but in the module section, gwavaman is shown to have stopped and will not restart.

Latest version cures this.
