Message Tracker Scan Result

Jump to solution

I have looked all over the place for this.  Sorry if I missed it, but is there any way to tell which filter got an incoming email blocked?  Message Tracker just says Full or None, Quarantine just says Message Filter Group.  Maybe it has something to do with migrating from GWAVA6.

Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

Hi Mark,

In message tracker Full means it was blocked by a filter on the policy, and None means it wasn't. If you click on the message it should open another small window, click on 'scan engine details' and then look under Filters. You should see something like this:

MTF.JPG

You can ignore 'message received'. So in this example it fired on SURBL which is part of the Spam filter group.

If it fired on a text filter (word that you have set to block), you won't be able to see which word it fired on specifically, unfortunately, you can only see which Filter node it fired on.

Good luck!
