Doubt about SSPR and Azure environment

My customer has servers on Azure environments and he wants to install SSPR 4.3 over Windows or Linux in order to integrate with eDirectory 9.0.
Reading the requeriments on SSPR documentation I can see that:

LDAP Directories NetIQ eDirectory 9.0 SP3 or 8.8 SP8 Patch 10
NOTE: eDirectory is not currently supported in Amazon Web Service or Azure environments.

I not sure what the "Notes" meaning!!!
Can anyone clarify?

I am not sure how it can be more clear; eDirectory is not supported in
those environments currently just as it states, though it is planned that
will change soon. It seems pretty unlikely that your customer has
eDirectory in one of those environments, but if they do then that
environment is not supported by the vendor should something break. Of
course, it may work just fine, like a lot of things which are not
supported may work just fine. SSPR could probably itself be hosted in
those environments, pointing to eDirectory in a supported environment.

From
https://www.netiq.com/documentation/identity-manager-47/setup_windows/data/t45zrx3ke7a5.html:

Identity Manager adds support for deploying the following Identity
Manager components on Microsoft Azure.

- Identity Vault

So eDirectory 9.1 on Windows should be supported now.
