Helpdesk and macro in filter

Hello,

Running SSPR3.3.0.2; Is it possible to use macros in the Helpdesk Search Filter? I'm trying to use @LDAP:attribute@ to limit the
search results to accounts with a relationship to the current user but the macro is sent as is to the ldap server (checked the
LDAP trace at the server).

Best regards,
Tobias

I don't believe this feature exists. You can enter an enhancement
request for it though.

Re: Helpdesk and macro in filter

Hello,

Yes, I realized that as well. I entered an enhancement request, id 105650, but it is still unconfirmed.

Creating decentralized services for password reset is one of our most common use case at our customers. We currently do this by
creating workflows but it would be much better to use SSPR.

Best regards,
Tobias

The current RMS status is "Product Management Review".

Re: Helpdesk and macro in filter

This feature would be very desirable. We are looking to use
UserActivation and would like to check for users with an "end date"
attribute in the future. We see the same thing when passing the
"CurrentTime" macro in our LDAP query, it just sends the macro string
rather the resolved value.
