Pick up ldapchai fixes in future releases?

We found a bug in ldapchai which we seem to be hitting on campus. I am
wondering if newer versions of SSPR are picking up the same fixes.

Here is the relevant pull request on GitHub:
https://github.com/ldapchai/ldapchai/pull/12

If someone can pass this on to the developers and release engineers,
that would be great. Thanks!

That pull request already states: "jrivard merged commit ec5f386 into
ldapchai:master 19 days ago", so I assume it'll make it's way into SSPR soon.

On a side note: WHy ldapchai? What is the chai a reference too? The
tea? Hebrew for life? Something else?

It will probably be sometime before that update appears in SSPR; there is no regular schedule.

While I accepted the pull request in the spirit of being helpful; the existing value used is not a bug. The value code ends in Z which indicates Zulu or GMT time (all times values in eDir are stored in Zulu/GMT). Thus the software your reading the value with is not honoring the Zulu time code and is instead reading it in local time. If you can change your client to use the indicated time zone, the value will be within the epoch.
