SSPR - Configure SMS Gateway

Hello,

I configured SSPR to send SMS through a gateway, I filled the fields as below :
- SMS Gateway : Url of the webservices
- SMS Gateway User : Username allow to log to gateway
- SMS Gateway Password : Password of gateway's user
- HTTP(S) Method : POST
- SMS Gateway Authentication Method : Authentication will be part of the request
- SMS Request Data :
{
"Recipients": [
{
"Address": %TO%
}
],
"Note": %MESSAGE%,
"UserMail": %USER%,
"Password": %PASS%
}
- SMS Data content type : application/json
- SMS Data Content Encoding : Javascript

When I clicked on Test SMS Settings, I have the following issue : unable to send message: 5078 ERROR_SMS_SEND_ERROR (IO error while sending SMS: Connection reset)

The flow between my SSPR server and the SMS gateway is well opened because I established a telnet connection on the specified port.

In the catalina.out file, I have the following lines :
2019-05-28 14:14:01,768 [INFO] RetryExec I/O exception (java.net.SocketException) caught when processing request to {s}->https://xx.xx.fr:8000: Connection reset
2019-05-28 14:14:01,768 [INFO] RetryExec Retrying request to {s}->https://xx.xx.fr:8000

After running a tcpdump, I was able to detect that the gateway sent back a tcp reset after SSPR sent Client Hello.

I added the CA certificate of the gateway to the tomcat's java keystore but I still have the problem.

Do you have any idea about how to solve the issue ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: SSPR - Configure SMS Gateway

I suggest, first test the SMS Gateway with a REST client. Another alternative would be to increase the log level of the SSPR to Debug, to have more information about what is happening.
