SSPR update fails on libopenssl-devel dependencies

In running online update against SSPR appliance version 4.4.0.4.  I  got a popup with the following warnings:

problem: libopenssl-devel-1.0.2j-60.55.1.x86_64 requires libopenssl1_0_0=1.0.2j, but this requirement cannot be provided

deleted providers: libopenss1_0_0-1.0.2j-60.55.1.x86_64

Solution 1: Following actions will be done:

  do not install patch:SUSE-SLE-SERVER-12-SP4-2019-572-1.noarch

  do not install patch:SUSE-SLE-SERVER-12-SP4-2019-2504-1.noarch

  do not install patch:SUSE-SLE-SERVER-12-SP4-2020-28-1.noarch

  do not install patch:SUSE-SLE-SERVER-12-SP4-2018-2846-1.noarch

Solution 2: deinstallation of libopenssl-devel-1.0.2j-60.55.1.x86_64

Solution 3: break libopenssl-devel-1.0.2j-60.55.1.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies

Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/3/c] (c)

Has anyone else seen this & found a workaround?

Thanks

I just ran into the same issue on the same SSPR Appliance version.

Did you come up with a solution?

No, I have postponed the upgrade until the issue is fixed. Should we toss a coin to decide who opens a case so it gets looked at? 😉
