Workaround for JS issue in 4.0.0.2

My team was attempting to upgrade SSPR to 4.0.0.2, but this got halted
when I discovered an issue in the way SSPR now interprets the embedded
javascript.

This:

Code:
--------------------
console.log("Verify js is working. This is a test");
--------------------

Gets changed to this:

Code:
--------------------
console.log("Verify js is working. This is a test");
--------------------

As you can see the the double quote gets converted to a html entity. I
opened an SR and this has been acknowledged as a bug.

My question is, has anybody else run into this? If so, have you come up
with a workaround until it is patched? We are eager to get to 4.0.0.2
because it fixes the apostrophe bug.

Thanks.
