sending email to multiple useres

Hi,

does anybody know if it is possible to send for example password change
notification mails to multiple addresses?

I was hoping that the "To" parameter can be configured with an array or
csv value, but when using a comma "," we receive the error: invalid
email address - when using a semicolon ";" as a seperator we receive the
error: "invalid semicolon ...."

Any ideas? Or shall I file in an enhancement request?

Thanks

Comma-separated email addresses should work, IIRC. Docs explicitly mention this
for both tokens do-send-email and do-send-email-from-template for the "to"
field:

"Adds the address to the list of e-mail recipients; multiple instances are
allowed. Can contain a comma-separated list of recipients."

If that's not working, it's a bug, not an enhancement request.

Re: sending email to multiple useres

I do not think so. I was looking at the class behind the PWm version of
this here:

https://code.google.com/p/pwm/source/browse/trunk/pwm/servlet/src/password/pwm/util/queue/EmailQueueManager.java?spec=svn759&r=703

It appears that it assumes one sender and that is it, though I have not
gone way too deep to verify that.

An enhancement request seems like a great idea. Modifying the template to
have a comma-separated list seems like a great way to go on this so that
your helpdesk can see if an important user's e-mail is changed, or a user
on vacation, or a user who is otherwise suspect (had intruder attempts
that they can see from the other template), etc.

Hi,

since we found no solution I filed in an enhancement request (ID 104930)
on this issue.
