In today’s connected world full of cyber threats, security teams have been focusing their attention on hardening their security layers. Driven by both risk management and often government mandates, authentication has received heightened attention during these past several years. While these mandates require at a minimum 2-factor authentication for remote access or higher risk situations, organizations are looking at authentication beyond just complying with the requirements but making their implementation of it a differentiator.

Leveraging Authentication as a Business Enabler.jpgBecause traditional user ID and password logins are vulnerable to phishing and logger attacks, their use will continue to decline where the protection of personal and sensitive information is deemed important or mandated. In this live webinar on October 1st, The Hidden Business Enabler - Advanced Authentication, Troy and I will have Andras Cser, Principal Analyst from Forrester, as our guest analyst. In it, we’ll explore where authentication is going as well as our perspective of Micro Focus’s role in it.

Watchers of the User Authentication market will recognize Forrester’s Andras Cser as a leading analyst in this field. In this IAM webinar, you will hear Andras’ perspective on what is driving the evolution of authentication technology, where he sees the market going, as well as his specific recommendations.

After Andras finishes his section, Troy Drewry (Senior Product Manager for Advanced Authentication) and I will provide our perspective on how organizations should view authentication and what they can do to prepare for the future. If you have a chance to watch live and ask your questions, it should be worth your time. If you can’t make the October 1 date, don’t forget that our discussion will be available on-demand at the same link as well.
