Convert timestamp to human readable format

What timestamp, to be readable where? Like most timestamps in computers,
you either have them in unixtime for internal uses (seconds since
1970-01-01 00:00:00 UTC) or you have string representations that follow
ISO 8601 or RFC 3339. Beyond that, computers usually convert from those
into formats for mere mortals that are all kinds of broken (bad ordering,
string representations of days/months, timezone nuances) so hopefully that
helps with your conversion.
