No space left on Sentinel 6.1 RD server

When the data base haven't space on disk, in logs appear (the database
and archive's file have a dedicate disk):

[...] Error saving events, cause org.postgresql.util.PSQLException:

insertion.* [...]

After free space the events are inserted in Database

If there is not space on database disk, where are the events stored?

There is an insertErrorBuffer directory, I believe, in
/opt/novell/sentinelrd/data/events (or some similar path... I do not
have an RD system nearby). Assuming the disk that was full had space
even though the database area did not this is normal and a carryover
from the Sentinel 6.1 days when the database was frequently on another
disk, and often another server or even network, so a slow database would
require Sentinel to cache until the database caught up.

It's a little less usual for Sentinel RD to have space when the database
it is using does not since it is all now on a single system, but in
Linux partitioning can be done however you like, and it's possible the
database could not write more data for some reason not directly related
to disk space which you have now corrected.

Good luck.
