DCAA's MPP is going down with : "Could not communicate with IDM server: Internal Server Error"

Hi All , 

We have installed DCAA on our ESXi server.

Recently  we have been seeing this issue where the Market place portal (MPP) service suddenly goes down with below error.

However, the CSA and OO services on DCAA seem to be unaffected. 

We tried restarting the opsware-sas services but doesnt solve the issue.

Not sure what IDM is and how it is connected with the MPP service. Any help on this would be  greatly appreciated.

IDM stands for Identity Management.


My question, is that service running?


How to check it?

    https://<DCA IP>:8444/idm-service/idm/v0/api/token/request_token 

and see if you'll get anything in turn




check the logs: /usr/local/hp/csa/jboss-as/standalone/log/hpcloud-idm-service.log


If no clue, worth attaching the logs within /usr/local/hp/csa/jboss-as/standalone/log/* and  /usr/local/hp/csa/portal/logs/* in order to review them
