HPSA Configuration Management

Greetings all.  I am new to using HPSA, and I am trying to setup a proof of concept for using Configuration Management in our environment to manage static files for our Linux servers.

I am trying to setup an audit policy that compares a stored template file from within HPSA against the file contents on a server.  I've chosen to use the /etc/sudoers file in our environment because it should not change once the server has been built.

I'm looking for some guidance/documentation on how to set this up.  I really just need a "primer" on how to get started, and then I should be able to run with it on my own after that (I hope!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Greg

Re: HPSA Configuration Management

Greg,

You'll find everything you need in the HPSA Application Configuration Guide.  You didn't mention a version so I've attached the 9.10 AppConfig guide.

Thanks,

Bert

Re: HPSA Configuration Management

Thank you!  We are currently using v9.10, so that is perfect.  Sorry that I didn't include that information.  I'll take a look at the document and hopefully can move forward from there!

Thanks again!
