Is the Model Repository Core server the Oracle database server?

Is the Model Repository (MR) Core server the Oracle database server?  The documentation is a bit misleading.

This is Keisha Paz and I will be assisting you with this threat, regarding your question  please see comments below:

For us as support and HPSA terminology it is called the “The Truth”.

It is in effect the Oracle database, you will be able to find one per CORE and it contains all the data collected for all the devices in the managed environment.

In the other hand, maintains all security and authentication information for the core, it can be installed on separate server or you can use an existing Oracle DB.
