MpC to import .xml file (SA Security and Compliance)

Jump to solution

Hi,

MpC is able to download and import the ec_cis_windows streams into SA, except the .xml files:

- cis_win2k8.xml (238.6 KB)
- cis_win2k8r2.xml (244.4 KB)
- cis_win2k16.xml (264.2 KB)

Any methods to import these?

Thank you.

In case someone needs this. This can be resolved by below steps.

1. Look into the .xml file description tag to find the Build No. and Build Date.
2. zip up the .xml file and named it with the Filename + Build No. + Build Date. (i.e. cis_win2k16.xml zip into cis_win2k16-28-20190301.zip)
3. place the .zip file into the <MpC folder>/cache/security/sas/ec_cis_windows/
4. run the MpC import command

Thank you.
