Command Prompt from NSD Appliance

OK, I can't figure this out...

I'm sitting at the "home" screen for the NSD 7.1 appliance, where I have exactly two options: 1 - Appliance and 2- Novell Service Desk. Should I actually need to get out of the appliance UI and to a command prompt WITHOUT shutting down the complete appliance - which seems to be the only option for getting out of the appliance UI - how would I do that exactly?

Re: Command Prompt from NSD Appliance

Establish an SSH connection to it using PuTTY or a similar terminal emulator.

Re: Command Prompt from NSD Appliance

Set a root password through the appliance UI and login through SSH. Curious question, what actions are you planning to perform from the command prompt on NSD appliance.
