Below is the excerpt from the SM 9.30 support matrix for the browsers supported by SM 9.30 web client (Chrome and IE 11 are not supported).

 

In general, the help content also follows the overal SM web client support matrix otherwise stated. So it's likely a latest version of IE or Chrome is not supported when you use them to view the  Installation Interactive Guide.

Web Tier: Web client
Supported browsers for the Service Manager Web tier include:
 Internet Explorer 7
 Internet Explorer 8
 Internet Explorer 9 (Note: Supported only for Web tier 9.30p3 or later.)
 Firefox 3.6 to 10.x

Does it mean that it should not be supported for newer versions? the reason of my post was to make changes to the guide to support last browsers.

If it is not listed in the support matrix, yes, you can consider it not officially supported.
