Access HPSM Tickets from Excel/similar

Jump to solution

We are looking at accessing Ticket from the Excel(Report). This excel report is sent to X person who has access to HPSM, so what we need is to create/add a Hyper-link for the Ticket Number part on Excel - upon clicking that Ticket number on excel report, it should redirect the use to HPSM login page & then to the Ticket details.

The problem we are facing is with the "queryhash" and when we try other ways it just gives us the Logout page.

Any options or directions please?

we are currently on HPSM9.35 Classic version(Non-PD)

thanks in advance.

Hi Sanzz,

First of all, the queryhash can only be generated by SM, the code to generate it is like below:

for index.do: x $L.void=jscall("urlCreator.getURLFromQuery", "probsummary", "number=\"IM10001\"")

for ess.do: x $L.void=jscall("urlCreator.getESSURLFromQuery", "incidents", "incident.id=\"SD10002\"")

And to set it up, you need to:

1. set two parameters in sm.ini like below:

queryhashcode:15.107.xx.xxx:13941

querysecurity:1

the host/host name must be the same as the serverHost in web.xml setting in webtier.

the port must be the same as the serverPort in web.xml setting in webtier.

2. set the web tier URL and ess URL like below:

2016-10-19_14-47-16.jpg

3. run the command to generate the right url:

>x $L.void=jscall("urlCreator.getURLFromQuery", "probsummary", "number=\"IM10246\"")
localhost:8080/webtier-9.50/index.do?ctx=docEngine&file=probsummary&query=number%3D%22IM10246%22&action=&title=undefined&queryHash=f9e08e79

4. copy the url to browser for testing.

Hope it helps,

We had problems with the queryhash as well, so we disabled it.  Check out the help documentation on the 'querysecurity' parameter for information on what the parameter does and how to disable it.

Thank you Jacob Sir, but we do not want to disable queryhash parameter.

Can anyone suggest a way of doing it without disabling queryhash on web.xml?
