Here an example to call the "wizard.run" application:

var rteReturnValue = new SCDatum();
var rteNames = new SCDatum();
var rteValues = new SCDatum();

rteNames.push("name");
rteNames.push("file");

rteValues.push("Your wizard name here");
rteValues.push(vars.$L_file);

system.functions.rtecall("callrad",
rteReturnValue,
"wizard.run",
rteNames,
rteValues,
true);

Re: Call rad application from JS

Hi @exeptt & @Flavio Bianchi,
I have tried to implement this in SM v9.40 but when I call the wizard (on ess.do) It logs me out.
Do you know what the problem could be?

Hi,

I have the same problem.

I call a RAD and then the system logs me out.

Hi,

There are many OOB instances you could refer to for samples of this.  Just do a search for "callrad" in the ScriptLibrary record.  The parameters and values passed will change, depending on the RAD app you are calling but it's pretty simple.

I am talking about the issue where it logs users out when in ess.do. It works fine in index.do, but logs the users our if they are using ess.do.

Thank you,

Hi,

Sorry, I did a quick reply and didn't read the history.  It is probably worth starting a new post specifically about the ess.do issue.

I'm not familiar with using ess.do, but out of curiosity, what RAD app are you calling and what parameters are you passing?
