Can't save caption for field (Sm7.11)

In the system definition table I have added a new field. For some reason the caption I had selected didn't save. I tried to add it again and although it appeared to save the caption was again missing when I checked the table.

The field doesn't even appear in the datadict but does appear in the dbdict

Any help would be appreciated. (Field has a type of date/time and is in the cm3r table, Service Manager version 7.11.228)
