Closure code on HPSM 9.3 web client not working properly

Hi,

In HPSM Web client, in Incident, I select any closure code from fill button.
If I want to remove it using backspace or delete button, that closure code do not gets cleared. it keeps on showing same old closure code.


Please help.

You can use some cleaup code in fc to clear the field value

It sounds like the known issue documented in QCCR1E61919. This software defect is fixed in SM 9.30p3 and above.

 

As a temporary work-around, try disabling the Select Only property for that field in Forms Designer.

You may check for any format control logic which is pushing any value into Closure Code

Hi darshana_ss,

 

As -m- mentioned this is a known issue. You didn't mention on which SM version you face this problem, but the possible workaround would be disabling the Select Only property for the problematic field via Forms Designer.

Try that out and let us know if it works fine. Note, that you may use this as a temporary solution. As HP Support team always recommends - the best practise is an upgrade to the latest version, where this and many other issue has been fixed.
