Create a new library for indexing files with KMSearch

Hello all,
I'm trying to index my disk c: \. I have done the steps that are in the document I attatch.

I think I need some step because it doesn't work. When I try to index my new library, the log writes the next msg:

com.verity.api.administration.configurationexception: java.io.ioexception: read timed out

Could you tell me something more that I can do for index it?

Thank you
Joana.

I havent tried a network drive (yet) ie \\
I have indexed the servers c: drive however. See the other post to find where all the log files live. Give the server a try and see if at least that works.
