Email Notification against Automated Monitoring Stopped Functioning for certain Assignment Groups

Hello Expert,

In my environment, SM and OMW is integrated. There is Automated Monitoring as well. If any issue having Severity 1 raises, then an alert will come to HPSM and HPSM will send Critical Email Notification to particular assignment group. It was working fine till last month. SUddenly it stopped working for particular 4 assignment groups. Users are not getting any email against Automated Monitoring Incidents.

Please let me know how to troubleshoot this particular issue. It has become a show-stopper for me.

First check assignment group if it is renamed or not? In assignment table as well as on error ticket using RAD debugger.

May be now they are sending assignment group with some space,hypen etc.

Also check the notification condition, on what condition it is firing and checking which field to pick assignment group. Check the value of that field is it contains proper name of group.

Another thing to check is bad email addresses in the operator records for that group.
