Embedding images into html emails

I am aware of how to use an external website to embed an image, but I was hoping to host the images on one of our servers.

I tried putting the image I wanted to use next to the OOB HP logo and used the image properties as a guide: {http_url}/images/Icon_Logo.png. I found this image on our all three of our SM servers all using the same file path ex: D:\Tomcat8\webapps\webtier-9.50\images

However, the image will not display.

Re: Embedding images into html emails

Hello,

Can you successfully access the image ({http_url}/images/Icon_Logo.png) from a browser? Also, does the image display successfully in the HTML source tab of the HTML email template?

Thanks.

Re: Embedding images into html emails

the image shows in the html source, but not in preview. I cannot access the image via a web browser, but I cannot access the OOB image {http_url}/images/Icon_Logo.png from a browser either.
