Failed to install HPE-Service Manager Server

Jump to solution
 Hi
Here is the errror message :

[INFO] Executing script install HP-SMRTE on server *.*.*.*.
[INFO] Copying the required files to complete this operation.
[ERROR] The package \HP\SMRTE\SM 9.30\setupserver.exe could not be found.
[ERROR] .

Although ITSM Deployment Manager downloaded other packages and installed them successfully but It seems that it will not download this package.
Where can i find the "setupserver.exe" download link ? so put it manually in the desired path.

Thanks for any help

I know MicroFocus is purchasing it, but I think it's not complete yet.  Apparently, Microfocus already owns some software called Service Manager, so that confused me.  So, instead of contacting sales at MicroFocus, try Sales at HPE:  https://saas.hpe.com/contact/contactme

Also, they also have a cool Demo site you can look at:

If you're able to reproduce this on a Test system see if the following steps below will work:

1. Remove the entries for desired package in Deployment Manager
2. Go into Settings
3. In the item 'Run under debug mode to use uncompressed JavaScript and CSS files' set it to 'yes'
4. Save
5. Download the package to be installed again and deploy it.

To download the main versions (i.e. 9.30, 9.40, 9.50) login to the Support website and choose Downloads from Product Information. You will need a valid SAID and once confirmed you can continue on to the product download.

I want to test the service manager product , you mean that there is no trail version of that ?

you mean that I am forced to buy that product to get the SAID and then I will be able to download the product ?

if I am wrong , please correct me.

Thanks for your help.

I would write to sales@microfocus.com and ask for the 60 trial version of it.  They should be able to direct you.
