Field visibile condition based on Array Filed

Dears,

Please help me to define a field visible condition based on array value. say "Others". When any of the array line value selected the value "Others" anothe Text field need to be visible for providing the user to enter the value for others.

Keep in mind Array field contains multiple entries (list values) and only if the user choose the value "Others" then the other field say "Specify" should be visible.

Service Manager version 9.40

Thanks in advace

Re: Field visibile condition based on Array Filed

Hi,

one possible solution is to use a data change event on the dropdown field.
If an user changes the value inside the array field, the defined data change event will be called. (data change event = display option)

In the display option you can run a expression/js script, which checks if the value "Others" is inside the array.
If so, set a local variable to true, if not, set it to false.

The local varible will be set in the visible condition for the "Specify" field.

Hope that helps.

The suggested solution worked finally with some experiments since I am not that much expert. Once again thank you so much.

Hi,

good to know that it's working.

You can find some examples also in the format "dep.g".
