Global Installation - Regional Webservers

Dear community,

I am wondering if someone who is using Service Manager in a global environment, has ever tried or has good experiences with installing Web Servers locally at remote countries (Web Servers then communicate with the Service Manager Server installed "locally").

I remember an old performance guide who was suggesting that this actually can benefit to performance ... have never tried that personally though (in case the location has a bad bandwith, solutions like Citrix have yet always been prefered).

Happy Holidays! Robert
