HPSM SD (incidents) View with only SD who has related IM/RF

Jump to solution

Hi all,

I´m usin HP SM 9.41 P3 in a Windows system with Oracle DB.

I need to do a new view:

- All incidents
- With related elements (such IM or RF) .

I tryed to filter by the variable $relatedId and does not work.
The first.call field are not used.

Exists a function who returns if a SD has related elements?
To prevent, in a future, and make a rule to feed a new custom field like "has_related_elements".

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

You can consider extending (changing) the current association of incident.id (Interaction ID) to point to the "screlation" table. The current pointer is to the "incdepends" table, which is only potentially useful if you use the "actions" option on Interactions.

You can update the RelatedObjectMap for this field, then allowing you to access fields in the screlation table in your view via the "use multi level  field chooser" option. You can then add both a filter on the type of related table (allowing you to only show INC or CHG related Interactions) and you can filter out any Interactions that don't have any relations.

Hope this helps!
