How to define the if-else statement in read only condition in form

Hi, all

Does anybody know how to define the if-else statement in the read-only condition in the form? In the first place, is it possible to implement?

Below is the example that what i wrote in the read-only condition

If [variable_1]=true & [variable_2]=true then RetVal=0 else RetVal=1 end if

Please help me.

If I'm reading your example correctly, it looks like you want the field to be editable only if both variable_1 and variable_2 are true. You can just use the expression:

[variable_1]<>true | [variable_2]<>true

it will set the field read-only if either variable does not equal true.
