How to import text file data to a table

Hi Experts,

I am trying to import the contents of a text file to a new table in SM 9.40 through import descriptor(Text import wizard).

But I am getting the attached error.

Could anyone please suggest me a solution.

Thanks & Regards,

As you see the error is about the unique key issue, you firstly findout what is the unique key defined in dbdict of that particular table. And then add that unique key values in your text file if your  are updating the records in the table. For example if you are importing to cm3r table, the unique key should be "number" field. Unique keys can not be Null. Hope this helps you.
