I'm trying to be able to enter more than one assignee for an interaction ticket, and have it send out the appropriate information to both assignees.
I added the new field as an array, and was able to enter an assignee but only that one. When I click on the populate button on the field below the one that already has an assignee it looks like it thinks but doesn't do anything.
I've attached pictures of my form and database field.
Wow....I'm confused about why you have two link records and having the same field point at two different tables.
Let's just try to tackel one issue at a time. Let's start with the Assignment field RAD error. First, can you give us a screenshot of your interaction form that has these fields?
When does the RAD error occur:
1. When you populate the Assignment field and click its Fill button?
2. The Assignment field is already populated, so you then type something into the Assignee field and click Fill?
It happens when I populate the assignment field, then click the assignee fill button.
Thanks again for working with me
Are these in your "incidents" link record?
First thing I would try is to delete/remove the link line that has the operator.view format.. You only need the line that points the assigneeMultiple field to the assignment table. After removing that, save the link record and try again to see what happens.
I hope tihs works. Try this:
Change your link line with the following:
Field (From/Source): assigneeMultiple
File (To/Target): operator
Field (To/Target): name
if (not (null(assignment in $File))) then ($query=" and assignment.groups=\""+assignment in $File+"\"") else ($query="")
if (not (null($L.idx in assigneeMultiple in $File))) then ($query="name#\""+$L.idx in assigneeMultiple in $File+"\"+$query)
$query=$query+" and ess.access.only#false and template.operator#false"
if $query#" and " then ($L.void=strclpl($query, 5))
Source Field (Fill To/Post From):assigneeMultiple
Target Field (Fill From/Post To): name
Unfortunately, the rad error is still occuring when I select the assisgnment group than the assignees.
