How to resolve the error : Field is not mapped to db
I have created a new field in SM with datatype as character in configuration management table.
I am getting the following error when I am trying to create a report using that field.
" Field Test.Gen is not mapped to the database(menu.magaer, display.home.page) "
Also when I click on the preview tab of the any of the report created based on the configuration management table the service manager is getting automatically logged out.Could you please tell me the reason of this behavior.
Anybody please help me to resolve these issues ?

You need to map it on the dbdict.
Go to DBDICT, double click on the field, set the SQL NAME (TEST_GEN), SQL Type (VARCHAR2(100) depending on the size and your db) and Table (probably m1)...
