IR Search no result return

Jump to solution

I just activate IR on a new system.

#ir_disable:1
ir_asynchronous:1
ir_max_shared:80000000
ir_timelimit:50
ir_autostop:1
ir_max_relevant_answers:500
ir_boost_same_sequence:1
ir_trace:801

Reboot SM.

I used sm -util to regen IR "reg" on request (SM9.41) since it's a small file and in the test environment where are only 200 records.

OOB have 3 fields in the IR brief.description, description and update.action. we use the same IR.

I did some search with sm -util (open file request, qbe: brown) or directly in the SearchConfig format and the result always return nothing.

I also do the regen directly in dbdict for this file since it's only 200 records. Seem to regen somethings but no big result.

The trace look like:

irfields are fine.

scirexpert have few ir.request records (13)..all seem empty but perhaps I just don't have good visual on that in SM Client.

Any idea how I can fix that?

Thank you,

I recently had to activate IR Expert and here are the steps I did:

- edit the sm.ini file to add the line: ir_asynchronous:0
- Stop the HPSM service
- start the HPSM service
- clear out the scirexpert table for the appropriate modules:
 - db > scirexpert > admin mode
 - for filename type in ir.request (for example)
 - delete all
- go into the dbdict for the appropriate modules, update IR Key to include the fields you want to include, and do an IR Regen
- Stop the HPSM service
- start the HPSM service

Hi,

Do you have "request" records into the "irqueue" table?

In irqueue, I have a lot of record.

If I limit to "request", 200 records for request. (same amount)

Record look like: irqueue={["request", "number=\"RF10020\"", number="RF10020", 1, false, "-RF10020", 0, '2016/05/20 20:59:14', "EXER", 0]}

...

irqueue={["request", "number=\"RF10205\"", number="RF10205", 1, false, "-RF10205", 0, '2016/05/20 20:59:16', "EXER", 0]}

Thank you,

Didn't had to do the stop/start after the regen.

Work well.

(You could also need to delete all data in "irqueue")

Thank you fcdcd.

Can you expain this part

 - db > scirexpert > admin mode
 - for filename type in ir.request (for example)
 - delete all

I have fields for

filename, record.id, data.id and irexpertindex.

Tried entering cm3r and probsummary in filename field - no records found 😕

instead of typing cm3r or probsummary in the filename field, you need to type in ir.cm3r or ir.probsummary
