Importing KM document from old to new SM with images

Hi,

Is there a way to unload KM documents with images from one SM to import them in another SM (including images)?

We are migrating (not upgrading) from old SM 9.51 to SM9.64 and need all the 'externally published' documents 'exported' from old SM to new SM. Table structure of kmdocument in both SM is almost similar (and can be made similar if needed).

We took unload of relevant KM documents from 9.51 and loaded them in 9.61 using standard db import utility which created all those documents successfully however embedded images were completely missing.

Is there a way to get KM documents exported from one SM to other SM along with images at the correct place within KM documents?

Or any other mechanism by which we can get the HTML KM documents along with images?

There are thousands of such documents and doing it manually is not an option.

Thanks

Shishir.

You need to take the attachments as well, the KM document. has only a reference of the attachment; the attachment itself is stored at the sysattachments table, so you need to take it as well..; if you keep the same references it will works easily, if not you might have some extra work to sync them...
