Re: Journal update on the notification

Hi,

As you know, the journal field may contain a lot of data so, sending it through an email is not a good idea. Could you please let me know the main reason you want to send that field in an email?

Re: Journal update on the notification

Hi,

You can write a code in a trigger to make an entry in activity table.

The trigger should be called "Before Delete" in evenout record and you can capture all the details from eventout record.

Re: Journal update on the notification

Notifications can include the $pmc.actions variable (which is the new activity text entered) and/or the $apm.activity variable which is the activity type drop down).

For example, we've configured an activity type of "Customer Calback Requested". When that activity is selected, we send a notification to the current assignee with the comments entered in the $pmc.actions field.
