Linker exclusive lock

Have anybody seen this and know how to solve this.

On 9.41 immidiately after a restart the lock for agent:linker is an EXCLUSIVE lock instead og a shared lock like normal. This means that no schedule records in class linker is processed. About 3 other processed display the same problem. Several restarts have not solved the issue.

Re: Linker exclusive lock

Does the lock turn exclusive when the process is running? This would mean that during startup your process is executing something that is taking a long time to complete (or never). Have you tried tracing a bg process and see what it is doing?

Re: Linker exclusive lock

The linker is not processing anything thats the issue. It is idle from the second it starts and the lock is also exclusive from it starts, very weird I have never seen this before. Tracing is my next step next time I am at the customer.

Re: Linker exclusive lock

Does it use load balancing, or any other "complicating" architecture?
