Odd GUI problem, stuck forms

Jump to solution
We have a problem where forms get stuck, e.g. a opened service call will not close. The only way to close it is to re-open the same record which "refreshes" the already open record and then it lets you close it. This can happen for any type of record and happens randomly. Maybe 5-6 times a day

Hello Jan,

This is an old known problem. We have experienced it since SP17. No solution so far.

However there is a quick way to get rid of the form. Just do "Save and New" and the stuck form will disappear. However you must have "ID after creation" setting enabled or you are going to have a lot of "empty" service calls.
