Hello,
I have found what the problem was... You need to put the desired status in Script Library "RequestService" and it will "pop up" in the Process Designer after some time.

Look in global lists for the Status list and where it is generated from e.g. ModuleStatus.

The ScriptLibrary also may have functions which limit the status range based on the phase or other conditions

I also had an idea of customising Request's Status list with my own statuses. (Version: 9.41, as a reference.)

I did some experiments, but statuses seemed to be tightly knitted with request model functionality. Did couple of changes and I got a non-functioning request workflow. (Request Task statuses especially, I suspect there's some hardcoding involved)

So I dropped the idea of forking OOB status lists, made OOB status list in the forms invisible and made my own "status" field with a list of possible statuses. Which in turn set a suitable value to OOB status field to fulfill workflow's status validation.

Yes, it adds another level on top of OOB status system, but at least I keep the original intact and workflow running. It also enabled me to translate the status names. I hope this decision will make future upgrades easier.

EDIT: In 9.41, to see the rule that populates list variables, check Request workflow > Workflow properties > Workflow based rule sets > Initialization > rm.initial.status.list

Moving on, this account is no longer active. Best regards, Kelalek
