Reset Condition in Process Designer HPSM 9.30

Jump to solution

In Service Manager 9.30s new Process Designer, within a Phase a Reset Condition may be defined in the Approvals tab. But deleting this Reset Condition if there has been a condition before leaves a warning message "You must finish building or editing the current expression." Clearing the expression is possible but trying to save the condition gives you the same error message as well. You can only press cancel and the old condition (which should be deleted) is still in place.

The only workaround so far I found out is to clean up the condition via Rad-Debugger statement. Any other suggestions?

Since the default condition of a rule in Process Designer is true, the easiest solution is to clear your original rule and just add a RAD expression of true as your new expression.

I don't know why PD won't let you simply remove the old condition, but this is a fast way to accomplish the same thing.
