SM 9.3 Survey Mechanis,

Hi Experts,

 

Any one use the new survey mechanism provided with SM 9.3 as I didn't find any resource or manual that explain how we can use it and the options available for end users to access these survey either through ESS or SRC.

 

Please let me know if you have any information regarding this topic.

Number 1 - is a download of a partner survey solution. It is a third party product and must be licensed separately from Service Manager. The SM sirvey integration component can be configured to kick-off sureys the are completed in this SaaS application.

 

Number 2 - is the formerly non-out of box survey components for integrating with external survey applications/websites. It is not necessary for 9.32, as the application now includes the survey engine (similar to how the HTML email content pack is not applicable to 9.32 because it is already incorporated).

Hello, this isn’t from SM itself but from a partner product from MarketTools. You would need to contact MarketTools.

The new Survey capability in 9.32 is used to integrate with external survey tools. It does not provide a survey interface or a method to complete surveys. It's a survey management tool, not a survey tool.

 

The survey connector is the integration method that is used to send the survey data to the survey recipients. The survey connector defines some elements of the survey, such as the survey parameters, survey recipients, and connection parameters.

Out-of-box, Survey Integration contains two types of connector:

  • API-based connector
    The API-based connector integrates Service Manager with the Market Tools survey solution. This connector uploads data directly to the survey solution. Details on the Market Tools solution are available on HP Live Network.
  • URL-based connector
    When you use the URL-based connector to manage a survey, survey recipients are emailed a URL that points to the survey. This option supports the use of website surveys, such as surveymonkey.com.

Thanks Experts for your help,

 

Actually I navigated the HP network live for the survey tools and found 2 thing but couldn't get the difference between each of them.

 

1- CustomerSat Survey Solution for Service Manager
