SM 9.51-Hybrid upgrade : Error 'View upgrade results and merge conflicts'

Hello Team,

Working on upgrading the current HPE SM 9.41 p4 Classic to HPE SM 9.51 Hybrid on a sandbox environment
- Downloaded HPE SM 9.50 iso
- Downloaded HPE SM 9.51 files(Server, Client, Application, Web-tier, AppUpg files) from <https://softwaresupport.hpe.com/group/softwaresupport/search-result/-/facetsearch/document/KM02688311>

Followed - "Upgrade the applications from a version earlier than 9.50" section in the upgrade document.
Started from Page #68, successfully completed Step 2 till Step 5.
Step 2 : Upgrade the server and the client
Step 3 : Perform preparatory tasks
Step 4 : Load the application upgrade file
Step 5 : Run the upgrade utility
- Did not find error in "Upgrade Utility logs & error messages

Error observed at Step 6: View the upgrade results <log file attached>
Under - System Administration - Ongoing Maintenance - Upgrade Utility
selected 'view/merge results' - 'Service Manager Upgrade Utility' wizard shows up
- selected 'View upgrade results and merge conflicts' - clicked "Next" (got the below error)

Unrecoverable error in application: wizard.run on panel call.process
Unrecoverable error in application: se.call.process on panel call.rad.1
Unrecoverable error in application: database.engine on panel call.search.engine.1
Unrecoverable error in application: se.search.objects on panel build.search.table.list
Unrecoverable error in application: AdvFind.getTableList on panel filter.list
Unrecoverable error in application: advFind.filter.table.list on panel process.object.record

Has any one observed this error while upgrading? (Log files attached)

Hi,

I resolved this issue by deleting the ocmq and ocml SearchConfig records directly from the database. Look in the SEARCHCONFIM1 table, and delete the rows for ocmq and ocml. Then you have to recreate them via the SM applicaiton.

I tried access few from db & always run in to same errors as below pointing something to OCMQ table.
Cannot access Object or any such tables.

You are spot on. That worked. I just deleted 'ocmq' record from searchconfig table by logging on to database.

    I'M from China, I want to upgrade HPSM9.30 to 9.50 and make a mistake,

As appendix:Load preupg.bin file error,

and I don't run smupgrade command on SM Clinet command line
