SM Service Portal - Approvals are not showing

When Approvals are created based on orders from the catalog, they are shown and can be handled in Service Request Catalog (SRC), but they are not available in SM Service Portal for the same users.

So, when an order/request requires an approval, it is Created in Service Manager. The Approval can be managed (approved/denied) in both Service Manager and in Service Request Catalog (SRC). The process in Service Manager works as designed, but the Approvals does not show up in SM Service Portal.

Is an approavl policy created in SM Service Portal (Propel) which is "connected" to Service Manager, required?

Is Approavls for SM Service Portal documented? There is a document describing approval polices in propel, but how does it work for SM Service Portal?

hope you are doing fine today.

Under my investigation it looks like the issue was already reported this year and it is a defect, actually it is still under investigation, here is the link of the KM

Thank you Carlos, but the issue at hand is that the no approvals are showing at all. It is not subject to sequence, as the KM you refer to.

Is there a guide on how to set up approvals for SMSP?

This may help, check if you can see Change Approvels in the SP.

Make sure to restart propel after making the changes.

Create a new RFC and make yourself the approver.

Note: the user you are logging in as in propel, i.e (orgadmin) has to also be an operator in SM.

Check logs under /opt/hp/propel/log/jetty-sx/sx.log

This post is about Service Catalog Approvals, not Change approvals or sequenced approvals.

Is there documentation on what type of approvals work with SPSM?
