(SM) Support Tip: Allow the ability to upload a Microsoft Access 'accdb' file to SM tickets

Uploading a Microsoft Access database file with an extention of accdb fails with the following message: "Failed! File contains illegal content."

This is due to the TIKA Parser is preventing the MS Access filetype accdb from being uploaded to a ticket.

To resolve update the custom-mimetypes.xml file

1. On the Service Manager Server
     a. Shut down Service Manager
     b. Open the \RUN\lib\common-9.60.jar
     c. Drill down to edit org\apache\tika\mime\custom-mimetypes.xml
     d. It will look like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<mime-info>
<mime-type type="application/unl">
<sub-class-of type="application/octet-stream"/>
<acronym>unl</acronym>
<_comment>HP Service Manager unload file</_comment>
<magic priority="55">
<match value="0x000219ca" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x000219cb" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x000219c9" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x00021965" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x00021966" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x00021967" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x000219fa" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x000219fb" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x000219fc" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x000219fd" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x000219fe" type="string" offset="0"/>
<match value="0x000219ff" type="string" offset="0"/>
</magic>
<glob pattern="*.unl"/>
</mime-type>
</mime-info>

     e. Add the following code in red

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<mime-info>
<mime-type type="application/unl">
<sub-class-of type="application/octet-stream"/>
<acronym>unl</acronym>
<_comment>HP Service Manager unload file</_comment>

If you are facing issues in the database managing system then visit https://babasupport.org/apple/iphone-error-4005/ and learn the proper codes and the correct procedure. Hope this helps.
