SM9.34.4001 - incorrect sysmodtime/sysmoduser in CHM/CHT Modules if 'Save & Exit' is used

The date.entered and operator fields should get updated when a the change or change task us updated but this is not occurring if the 'Save & Exit' button is used and because these fields are not updated there is no update to the record in the cm3r/cm3t table so the sysmod fields are not updated either. the only thing that is working is that the activity record is created and this make for as descepancy between the last activity update and the sysmodtime/sysmoduser data.

If the 'Save' Button is used everything is updated as expected.

Does this occur in anyone elses systems?

Hello Jamie,

As SM design,
 - sysmodtime field is updated if 'Save'/'Save & Exit' button are used.
   however, this field is not updated if you just click 'Save'/'Save & Exit' button without any change of field.

Could you check whether you changed any field when clicking 'Save & Exit' ?

my apologies, I should have mentioned that this is when updating the ticket, eg: entering a 'New Update' in the activities tab...

Re: SM9.34.4001 - incorrect sysmodtime/sysmoduser in CHM/CHT Modules if 'Save & Exit' is used

Hello,

I have reproduced your issue.

A possible solution is to modify the cm.ok Process record.

In the Process record add this expression at the end of the Evaluated Expression before RAD call field for the RAD cm.update.save.

if ($L.continue and $L.mode="update") then ($L.do.cm.update=true)

Best Regards
