【SM9.34】 How to disable messages in the problem management

Jump to solution

Hi, All.

I would like to know how to disable the message in the problem management, saying "The Downtime End must be AFTER the Downtime Start. Re-enter one of the dates."

I understand what it means ant what it is for. I want to customize the error message by myself.

Please refer to the file attached.

Regards,

Shuta

That's a validation on the probsummary format control which is firing. You can type fc into the command line or get to Format Control through the Nav>Tailoring>Format Control or from the Database Manager by pulling up the formatctrl table. Search for the probsummary fc record, look at the validations tab, and you should be able to change it there.

Also, see attached screenshot of where to change it. 😉
