SM941 Mobile Logo

Hi,

Please do you have an idea how can I change the logo in SM mobile?

I changed the logo in   /home/smuser/apache-tomcat-8.0.28/webapps/SmMobile/app/resources/images/  but it did not working.

Steps to Modify the HP logo and header text on Service Manager Mobility Interface

Solution

Steps to modify the HP Service Manager Mobility Interface header text


Step 1: Browse to the <Tomcat installation directory>\webapps\<appname>\WEB-INF\classes directory, open the 

              appbunddle.properties file

Step 2:  Change App.Title value from HP Service Manager to Testing Header Name Change

Step 3: Save appbunddle.properties file  and restart tomcat

 

Steps to Modify the HP logo on Service Manager Mobility Interface

 

Step 1: Browse to the <Tomcat installation directory>\webapps\<appname>\WEB-INF\classes\META-INF directory, open the app.properties file with a text editor, update debug=false to debug=true

Step 2:  Save the file app.properties and restart Tomcat

Step 3: Replace the hplogo.png with your customized logo at following location

C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Tomcat 7.0/webapps/mobility/app/resources/images/hplogo.png'

Step 4: Modify the override_std.less and below command to over write the hplogo

@mobile_logo: url("../images/hplogo.png");

Step 5: Save override_std.less file

Step 6: Generate CSS files by using Koala Application,  follow these steps:

           6.1. Download Koala from http://koala-app.com and install this software on your computer.

6.2. Browse to the <Tomcat installation directory>\webapps\<appname>\app\resources\css directory

        and add the LESS folder to Koala by either drag-and-drop or click the + button in Koala UI.

6.3. After overwrite the variables in override_ess.less, use Koala to generate the CSS file.

6.4. Click sm-mobile-ess.less, a panel will be displayed on the right. Click the Compile button to generate a CSS file

        with the name of sm-mobile-ess.css.


Test generated CSS files


To test the generated CSS files, follow these steps:

1. Browse to the <Tomcat installation directory>\webapps\<appname>\WEB-INF\classes\META-INF directory and open app.properties with a text editor.

2. Change debug mode to false.

3. Save and close this file.

4. Restart Tomcat and test Mobile Applications for both standard mode and employee self-service mode.
