Hi there,

You will need to find out what the interface into Telalert is. If it is a command line, use a commend exec DB rule; if it is an email interface, use a send email DB rule. If it is a web interfce, use the data update from extrnal system rule.

Hope this helps, Ruth

Hi,

previously I have used the command line with telalert and the sd_event.exe and agent to get it all working.

Have fun 🙂

hi
You can call it thru a DB rule.
eg:
When incident is created where Configuration Item;Category equals Server AND Configuration Item;Folder equals ABCD AND Status equals AssignedORRegisteredORAccepted AND Incident Description contains DownSedning SMS (Command Exec Action) , , Host: 10.10.10.10, Command line: C:\Program Files\TelAlert\telalertc, Parameters: -g GroupName -m "[Configuration Item;Search code] is down at [Registration;Created]"
_______________________________
Commands eg :
telalertc -i Ashly -m â This is a test SMS"
telalertc -g It-Op -m "message"

ie: -i for single person, -g for a group.

Please let me know if u need more info

Thanks for the points, if any

Hi Ashly ,

Please I need to clarify some points what do you mean by DownSedning SMS as I have to write it exactly & Parameters: -g GroupName -m "[Configuration Item;Search code] is down at [Registration;Created]"

Your clarification will be highly appreciated

Thanks

Hi,

That is just a name given to the action.
